I’ve titled this pendant “Desert Rose,” inspired by Isaiah 35:1

I was captivated by the imagery this bible verse brought up. I love thinking about how God takes something empty and dry and transforms it into something alive and beautiful, just as the desert when it blooms. Over and over again I have witnessed this in my own life.

Each element on this pendant was thoughtfully chosen. To me it is a visual reminder of God’s goodness and grace.

The turquoise gemstone is an elongated oval, faceted and bezel set you can see it from from both the top and backside of the pendant. I chose it to represent the living water, which satisfies our spirits, with a contentment found in God alone. The rose represents life, and not just any life, but fresh, vibrant beautiful life. The life and life abundantly that Jesus brings! The leaves represent a growing faith.

The back of the pendant holds my artist signature stamp along side a little dove. I like putting the dove on the pieces that are tied with my faith. These tell a deeper story straight from my heart. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will use the work of my hands, that the name of Jesus is proclaimed, that a seed of faith is planted and that you are encouraged in your own faith journey.

“The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose.” Isaiah 35:1 NKJV

On a technical note, the whole pendant is created with solid sterling silver. You have your choice of 16” or 18” solid sterling silver snake chain. I chose to patina the recessed areas dark and buff up the high spots to really show off the details and the beauty of silver. This pendant is one of a kind, the pendant photographed is the exact pendant you will receive.
