I created this unique art jewellery pendant completely by hand in solid sterling silver. I love to garden and find my inspiration among the blooms and vines, and just like tending a garden, silversmithing is about patience. Using traditional silversmithing tools and techniques, I work the sterling silver by slowly, building upon the last step to create a layered botanical garden. When the silver components finally come together, I like to think about the finished piece as a miniature wearable sculpture.

Garden Circle Pendant // One of a Kind
♢ Solid sterling silver (100% recycled)
♢ Each little leaf, flower and stem is handmade and then assembled together using traditional goldsmithing techniques. I like to think of myself as a florist creating a little garden bouquet of flowers!
♢ I finish the pendant with traditional metalsmithing techniques
♢ I apply a dark patina to the recessed areas of each rose, and the earrings go into my tumbler with steel shot to harden and polish the surface. The high points are polished to a bright shine, creating a beautiful contrast. This contrast between dark and light is what sterling silver is famous for!
♢ The process of creating is slow and intentional, I use traditional metalsmithing tools and processes alongside modern ones to create all my pieces by hand. My heart goes into every single piece I design.
