Cast from solid sterling silver this pendant features a hidden bail on the back. It looks great on a shorter chain as a statment peice, and it also have enough presence to be worn on a longer chain if you prefer.

Large Drop Pod Pendant
♢ Solid sterling silver♢ This pendant is the largest from my "silver seed" collection. This is one of my few cast collections. I first made a master of my design, constructing it argentium silver and cleaning it up to perfection. A rubber mold is made and now I can have it cast in sterling silver, creating multiples. The collection is a "limited edition" because I am finishing each piece by hand.
♢ I love gardening -- it is my biggest source of inspiration. I am drawn into all the little details and symbolism literally blooming all around me. As a metalsmith and jewellery design I am fascinated with capturing the moment and transforming it into sterling silver.
♢ Seeds and seed pods are a prominent element in my designs. The seed represents hope, perseverance, and potential. It is a symbol of encouragement and I find myself designing over and over again with seed imagery.
♢ The pendant is 5.5 cm x 2.5 cm in size (approx 2 1/8" x 1") It looks great as a statement pendant worn on a regular length chain and has enough presence to be worn on a longer chain.
