From my signature "Pea Pod" collection I cast these earrings out of solid sterling silver wire. They have five peas in each pod. Perfect for a Mother’s Day gift for a family of 5, or for someone who loves to garden.
They are sturdy yet delicate, comfortable to wear all day.

Signature Pea Pod Earrings
♢ Solid sterling silver
♢ This is my signature pea pod design originally constructed in argentium silver. From my master I had a mold made and this pendant was cast in solid sterling silver. I hand finish each set of earrings myself, filing away rough and uneven spots, polishing the surface to a bright shine.
♢ The earrings feature handmade ear wires also in solid sterling silver to compliment the design.♢ I love gardening -- it is my biggest source of inspiration. I am drawn into all the little details and symbolism literally blooming all around me. As a metalsmith and jewellery designer I am fascinated with capturing the moment and transforming it into sterling silver. Jewellery is lasting, it does not fade like a flower and becomes a tiny little treasure box full of memories!
♢ Seeds and seed pods are a prominent element in my designs. The seed represents hope, perseverance, and potential. It is a symbol of encouragement.
♢ This pair of earrings is special because it is the very first in my "Garden Contour Line" collection. The pieces in this collection are like a series of line drawings - distilled and simplified to show off the elegance and natural beauty of the world around us in a minimalist way. Both leaf and pod shapes have influenced this design.
