Inspired by a seed pod these earrings are the smallest from my Marquise Pod collection. Scattered seeds gracefully fall down the elongated shape.
Cast from solid sterling silver they feature handmade solid silver 19-gauge ear wires.

Small Marquise Seed Pod Dangle Earrings
♢ Solid sterling silver
♢ To create this design I first made a master out of Argentium silver, forming the marquise shaped frame and fusing little balls of silver to be the "seeds." The piece was finished to perfection and rubber molded. Creating a wax from the mold and casting the design into solid sterling silver I can make matching earrings or pendant for you (and a friend.)
♢ The ear wires are handmade formed from solid sterling silver as well, hardened and polished to keep their shape.
♢ I love gardening -- it is my biggest source of inspiration. I am drawn into all the little details and symbolism literally blooming all around me. As a metalsmith and jewellery designer I am fascinated with capturing the moment and transforming it into sterling silver. Jewellery is lasting, it does not fade like a flower and becomes a tiny little treasure box full of memories!
♢ Seeds and seed pods are a prominent element in my designs. The seed represents hope, perseverance, and potential. It is a symbol of encouragement.
♢ The earrings measure 4.5 Centimeters in total length, with a drop length of 2.8 cm. The width of the earrings is .07 cm
